Bedroom Shakes while walking up the stairs
 

I have an old colonial home 1920, which I have been gutting for the past month. I recently noticed when standing in one of the bedrooms and someone walks up the stairs to the attic and over the bedroom in question it shakes quiet badly. Feels like it moves side to side. I don't know what the problem could be. Is it because there isn't any sheet rock since it use to have lathe boards and plaster.

Let me know what you guys think or if someone had a similiar problem.

Get someone who knows something about structure there asap. If you have a serious issue you will only know when it falls down.
Sounds like you removed something bearing some weight, or you need diagonal bracing installed.
Hiring an Engineer will have your answer.
