Oh I get it, but the stones and no weep screed at the bottom for drainage says to me there is no footing. Just a old fashioned hunch,Let's hope I'm wrong.

An update for everyone who kindly commented on my question. I decided not to bid on the house, but someone else has a contract on it. I will keep you posted to see if it actually sells after the inspection. Here is the listing on the house:
