I want to put up a building with a wood floor 28' x 32' with 10' walls. I want to put in concrete post below the frost line (32"). How many do I need and what diameter should I use? I know this is kinda of vague but I am just starting to figure out what I have to do and how.

Thanks for any help.

Default depends

Welcome...it depends on what your local code says is good. Around here a 10 inch column of concrete 48 inches deep every 8 feet does the trick.
Hopefully you can get away with something at 32 like you said.
Good luck.

Inspector,
I already know that the frost line is 32" but I had planned on going 36" to be safe. We don't have a local inspector for our county so I am going to call the court house to find out where and if I need a building permit. Who ever they point me to should be able to give me the correct information. I just wanted to have an idea so I could show them a sketch of what I want to do.

Thanks
