foundation problem?
 

I am getting mold along the baseboards of my home. When I bought the house I cleared some of the dirt and soil along the foundation as suggested. How much of the foundation should be exposed? Is there anything else I can do to stop moisture from sneaking in? There are not cracks and the house was built in 2002. What other things should I look for?

Most codes and standards require that the wood in a structure be between 6" and 10" be above the surrounding soil that has positive drainage away.
