hi anybody know if this is a problem having vents open into a addition patio room. they jus left it like this what problems can i see in future

As these vents are there to allow air in and out of the crawl space below the house, you may have a smell from there from time to time. This looks like living space now so I think I would look into cutting new vents somewhere else and closing these.
