sewage drain line under the house came apart and spilled sewage. WHat's best to kill the smell and clean it up?

Lime will do a good job. We used to use it on the farm after cleaning it out in the spring. Also in the out house knocked the smell real good. Yes I do remember the days of 8 rooms and a path and bathing in the kitchen sink.

If it is a crawlspace with a dirt floor use lime.
Cement floor clean it up and then sterilize with bleach.
