dfference between air and gas quick connects
 

Hi all, is there a difference between air and gas quick connect fittings? thanks

I doubt quick connects are even legal to use on gas in most places.
Flared fittings only around here.

I had a large bottle installed yesterday for my grill and smoker. The installer put in one quick disconnect cause he didn't have two. Looks very similar to an air fitting, but I don't know the difference. It was installed with copper from the bottle to the tee which looked like galvanized. I'll have to look closer when I get home.

I think the main difference is in the psi rating.

The difference is, the ones for gas have a csa aproval for the gas it is to be used with.
