How to straighten 1" Poly?
 

I hope to be laying about 80' of 1" dinking water poly from the street/meter to my home. I'm in NorCal coastal so we won't be getting a sunny day for awhile to soften and straighten it out of its coil.
My question: Are there any other ways to straighten it? Perhaps duct tape run a hair dryer to one end? Fill it with hot water?

Running hot water thru it will work, if you have water available.

If it is buried just throw it in the trench and bury it.

I agree, just throw it in the hole and cover it up. But if you have to have it straight. Stake it out in the yard in the sun for a while, that will do it.
