I have a toilet on the lowest floor of our house which is on a slab. It does not benefit from gravity as our two other bathrooms do and it often requires a couple of flushes to do the job. The plunger handle is getting worn down from overuse.

I was considering replacing it with a power flush toilet but I don't know much about them. Any model recommendations? Do they require electrical power, etc. ?

Any guidance or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check the water level on the tank; dip a mirror in there to see if something is lodged; pull the toilet to see if something is lodged from the bottom; check the vent for the toilet. Gravity is not your problem.

I'm curious why you're sure gravity is not a factor.

The vent pipe at the roof supplies air behind water so there is no vacuume effect with the height of the pipe or it would suck all the water out of toilet.
Vacuume assest and pressure assest toilets work with how water is handled in the toilet and do not use any other power source.
