I'm assuming galvanized piping?
Replace them entirely or at least each section left/right of the leak so you get a new connection using teflon tape.

Go to lowes or home depot and talk to your plumbers. They can help you. I did all my copper water lines in my basement and no leaks. Save you money don't call a plumber. If you don't want to solider they make shark bits
