Shower head, Dielectric union
 

I am just about done with the bathroom, I have a Price Fister shower head, can i teflon tape it in and just go to a copper fitting or should I use brass. I know the shower head is not galv pipe, but it is still steel...

Teflon tape should be fine

I would truly be surprised if I ever found a steel showerhead. Brass and plastic are very common.

its polished nickle finish, and it really doesn't feel like brass at all and def not plastic. I guess sorrry, I am talking about the shower head arm that goes into the wall. I should have been more specific

Shower arms are typically plated brass as well. Steel does not belong where it is exposed to water.
