we just experience this problem as our icemaker line decided to break when we turned the corner at the end of the block,,, 1 wk later we came home to wet floors & dripping bsmt ceilings.
you found the house & its acceptable so hopefully you can match the base cabinets, we couldn't,,, nor could we save the hardwood floors so its new incl underlayment & sub-flooring,,, since the base cabinets couldn't be matched, got a cabinet maker to ' do it all over ' according to bride's wishes,,, long's we did that, might as well upgrade to granite c-tops, too,,, OY VEY IS MERE !!!!!! enough, already
summing up, IF its THE HOUSE, get it but know what you're doing,,, after all this, any rqd disclosure's irrelevant,,, personally, i like buying ' as is, where is ! ' w/no partners (mortgagee ) but that was/is my business
