Water temp fluctuations
 

I have a Bradford White Defender hydrojet 40 Gal water heater approx 5 months old. The water temp is about 110 in the morning but after some use it eventually goes up to 139-140. I've tried adjusting the temp down but it's not warm enough in the AM. Any suggestions?

I would call the installing plumber as it should be under warranty by both him and Bradford White.

Does this have the Icon gas valve?
