what color is pex tubing for heating
hello all, what color is pex tubing for heating? and will it say so on the tubing? I thought it was orange, but someone said they had it installed and the plumber used red color pex tubing. thanks

I don't think colour is for function. It is only for convenience.

Red is used a lot. But you must get it for heating because of the temp. It is thicker and won't melt.

Oxygen Barrier PEX, if there is steel or cast iron parts in your system, colour dosn't meam anything.
