Default 13 year old composite roof

Know that I have decided to sell my house and move to a bigger home. I need to put a new roof on. It has its original first roof, and hoping I can just buy composite shingles and put a new roof on. There are no leaks currently.

Any comments on this? I was a roofer in past life but that was 15 years ago ....

Mac - Why not let your buyer do the roof? You can discount the house by the cost and then they get to pick the color/style of shingle. Unless there is a problem or major eyesore your buyers probably wont even look at the roof.
