Gutter Spikes
 

Hi all!

Is there anyway to stop the gutter spikes from coming out? I've pounded in a few of them, but I've noticed that there are a lot of them that are sticking out from the edge.

I have in the past replaced them with screws that are a little longer than the spikes but if they keep coming off are you sure your facia is not rotting.

I don't think they keep coming out, I just noticed that there are a number of them around the house that are sticking out a couple of inches or so.

I've only tapped in the ones that I can reach (from the raised deck). I haven't seen that those have come out again.

When you say screws, are you talking about galvanized, or something else.
