Samslaught

I bought a house built in the 70's and it has a lot of old dark rock siding on the front. My wife doesn't like it and I don't like the high cost of removing it and replacing it with something else. One solution that popped into my head was painting it. Maybe with lighter colors to give the rock a fresher more modern look. Is this possible and has anyone seen this done?

It is indeed possible to paint the stone siding. It is impossible to undo. Visit a reputible paint store and ask for the correct paint. Some place like sherwin williams, Benjamin moore.

I have seen it done. I personally don't like it.
