I recently removed Approx. 2,500 - 15" X 20"Slate- from a residential roof.
where can i find possible buyers in tri-state area any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Craigslist, Local slate/roofing companies, Fine Homebuilding magazine. I would expect there would be a good market for used slate in your area.
