Wuzzat?

The VP of Engineering in some company several years ago was witnessing a test where they beamed a laser at a test specimen.

Well, the specimen unexpectedly exploded and a piece of the test sample reflected the beam in the direction of the VP for the smallest fraction of a second, neatly slicing his tie in half.

But, compared to other woodworking tools, I guess this is no more or less dangerous.
