Default Dishwasher does not drian completey

I have a frigidaire dishwaser, model # that does not drain completely. The dishwaser runs all the cycles correctly. But when it's all finished, there is water still in the bottom of the dishwasher. If I start a new cycle, the first thing the dishwasher does is drain out all the water, which tells me the draining motor works, the hose is not clogged. I detached the drain hose from the garbage disposal and have it running directly into a bucket for now to see if that was the problem. Water drains fast and furious and the dishwasher is actually draining. So Basically after I run a cycle, I start a new cycle just so the water can completely drain, then I hit cancel and stop the cycle. Does anybody know why the disherwasher does not completely drain at the end of the cycle?
