Hello, I'm from Michigan, and we own a late 50's bungalow. I'd like to gradually as a hobby remodel it. A lot of homes like this are being bought out, torn down, and a new current design home being built in their place.

Anyhow, my wife and I plan on keeping the house as is, but just adding a few things to give it more character without being gawdy.

Hope to learn a lot on these forums!
