Hello from BC Rockies - log house
 

thirty years ago I built a "temporary log house/future workshop" - we still live there. Originally we had no electricity or plumbing but are "modern" now. We are located at the foot of the beautiful BC Rocky Mts :D on 160 acres, which we are dividing half into 5 acre parcels to sell for our retirement income.

the house, of course, was not wired or plumbed when I built it so when we did get each I had to make-do the best I could on a limited budget. We are comfortable but have unique problems. I hope to have feedback from all of you on some of these, and maybe my "been-there-done-that" experience can help others.

I did a remodel on a log cabin several years ago. Plumbing and electrical are fun to deal with and trim is fun too!
