Hello-

My wife and I purchased an 1885 Victorian Queen Anne home three years ago and only now have I gathered the courage to start doing some work on my own, rather than paying others to do it. I told my wife the home didn't really feel like it was ours until I intentionally damaged something (termite ravaged floorboards). I'm nearing completion of painting the entire exterior of the home all by myself, with help from two generous neighbors. :)

We love our old home and I love this site--lots of useful knowledge here. Thanks!
