Hello from Kentucky
 

My husband & I are building a new home ( all by ourselves) from the ground up in the country. We are roughing in the plumbing at this point and are looking for ideas on how to finish installing a one piece tub surround. I am hoping to find a lot of good ideas on this board.

Hello Moe and Welcome to the Forum:
You can find plenty of help here. Please consider that Kentucky has a State-wide Plumbing Code, Electrical code and Heating/Air Conditioning code. Home owners are allowed to do much of the work themselves with a Homeowner's permit and the work is subject to the same inspections as the licensed guy's. That being said, I will be happy to help with advise any way I can.
