Default Hello, need help

Hi all, my garbage disposal is leaking. The thing is that all the connections are in tack. the leaking is coming out of the reset button on the bottom of the disposal. (Model: Badger 5 by Insinkerator). My question i that is the thing busted from the inside? is it possible? the leak is not much, just droplets. the house is only 6 years old. Do I need a new one?

I would definately replace it. They aren't all that expensive and if the leak is coming from below (right where the power is) you could have a potentially serious hazard. If you go with the same brand the install goes much quicker. You could have the problem fixed within a half hour. By the way the disposers that builders put in are typically the cheapest ones around. You might want to get a quieter one with more power. They even have ones that auto reverse if there is a jam.
