I was searching for some information on solar screens and making my home more energy efficient. I stumbled across this forum and looks like a nice place to visit. I'm a fire fighter in Central Texas and I have owned my home for about 14 yrs, I have experience in plumbing, irrigation and tile work.

I haven't noticed a Fireman on here before, perhaps you have some safety tips for us.
You may want to Google The Mother Earth News, they have run articles on solar screens in the last year or so.
