I'm new to this site and just happened to come across it while searching for some home repair topics. This looks like a great place to get some info and I could really use help. however I'm not very good with the open forums like this. this being my first one signing up for. i am a long time diy'r

When I joined this place, I was also never on a forum. But it was nice around here and folks want to help, so I stayed.
Glad I did too, I think I may have even made some new friends out there in the world who have the same morals, integrity and friendliness I do.
You can learn a bunch just by listening to other folks and their issues.
