New to the Forum

I just discovered this forum and found it full of interesting ideas and solutions. I'm retired and live on a few acres in southeastern Louisiana just north of New Orleans. I enjoy woodworking and spend a fair amount of time keeping a number of old pieces of machinery working. Although it has been over 20 months since our little storm there are still a million things to do before recovery is nearly complete.

Sorry you all got hit with that big storm. I see reports about it on TV occasionally; I understand there are still several folks without a home in your area. Its so sad, I wish I could help but I am on disability retirement myself. We are glad to have you though and there are several professionals here with lots of good advice. I look forward to hearing more from you and maybe helping out in some small way.
