although im new to the forum been into diy for a number of years,
refuse to pay someone when i could do it myself.
anyway look forward to hearing your views and helping out if i can
and sometimes to bodg as they say, ha ha

That is exactly how I am. Plus I like to learn new things and you don't learn much by paying someone to do it. Welcome!

Being in the business, I like the folks who let me do the work. BUT, I like the folks who do what they can too! Welcome to the forum.

You remind me of myself about 30 years ago. Now I have about $70,000 in tools but I saved $12,000 by not having to hire a contractor. It has somehow turned into a pretty good living so I'm not complaining. Welcome and good luck with your projects. Rick
