I am just about to complete on my first home - it's a basic little place but needs quite a bit of cosmetic work - I want to do it all myself so joined this site to gather some helpful hints, and hopefully share my experiences and help others. Looking forward to chatting!

Welcome everyone! I remember those days when I bought my first house and did not know the difference between plaster and drywall compound. :D

Ask anything you like because there are many excellent sources of info here. When they aren't drinking, you can even rely on their advice. (kidding)

Sometimes thing are a little harder to figure out.
