Hello from the New Mexico, the section of America that is closest to the sun.

Wife and I bought our first home last September. Besides the other considerations you take into account when buying a home, we liked that it needed some renovation so that we could tailor it how we liked.

I've already encountered some things I can't figure out, and that's why I'm here.

Im 35, married to a woman I'm very proud of and in love with and have 2 young kids, both boys ages 8&6. I work in a potash mine.

I've read through some posts and decided this would be the place I ask my questions. Hopefully somewhere along the line I'll be able to help instead of being helped.
