Hi everyone.
I'm so excited to find a place like this where I can get some objective, informed advice without being sold something. Thanks for having me. I'm a long term homeowner who seems to be buried in projects around my 12 year old house. I've usually moved by now, but don't see that happening again for a while, so I can't avoid replacing appliances, repairing wear and tear, and that most dreaded task of all -clutter control.

I'm a retired nurse, like to garden, read, do crafts, and I've just about given up on hiring people to do things that I can figure out with a little help from my friends. I still don't understand how to use my digital multimeter, so I don't do electricity. Other than that, I'm game.
