I,m doing extensive work on an Old Three family Brick Building. Right now what i would like to do is open a doorway from the basement to the back yard through a brick and stone wall.
> What size of H-beam cold i use to complete this project?

Once again, I advise watching the movie Under the Tuscan Sun I know that brought a laugh the first time I said that but there is some very relevant footage in there.
Most larger, reputable steel suppliers have someone with the charts who will be happy to help with the lintel. We don't know how long the span is and even the guy at the steel-yard would like to see a picture of the stone.
