Twin track
 

Hello all,
I want to hang some Twin track uprights in the garage for shelving for DVDs, cd and books how far apart should I put each track?

Depends on how long you want the shelves to be and what material you will be using for shelving.

I have three walls, 5', 6' and 9', wood shelves

3 feet apart on the 5' & 6' shelf and also on the 9' shelf with 3 supports not 2.
Of course you didn't specify how thick or deep the wood shelve are.
There is not specific distance, just what appears to be structurally sound.
Basically, you aim is to space the supports evenly across the load.
