Anyone experienced in Florida homes ?
 

I'm wondering what can of worms are opened in stripping the drywall out of a house in Sarasota county florida. Specifically at what point you open yourself up to building code upgrades. I know the current standards are more stringent than in the past few decades. I'm going to check with the county government but thought I could get a quick opinion here.
