Default basement kitchen
What is the deal with putting a second kitchen in the basement, with no stove just small appliances. Is it legal or illegal?

You will have to ask the city. Every city has differnt rules.

Most likly it would then be concidered living space and would need a point of egrees other then just the stairs.
