Change edge banding color in a kitchen rehab!
 

We are renovating the kitchen in a modular home. The edge banding on the white kitchen counters is currently a mauve color. We wold like to change that color. What is the best way to go about this???

Your best bet will be to use a heat gun, it is like a really powerful hair dryer.Then plain old muscle and elbow grease with a really good 2 inch putty knife or painters scraper tool.
Then clean it up good, but be careful that laminate is sharp, I would wear some good gloves.
