countertop removal
 

I want to remove our present laminate countertop -backsplashes only. How do I do this? Are they glued to the countertop? I've tried to use a crow bar but to no avail. Is it possible?:confused:

If the backspashes are not covered by the same piece of laminate as the counter tops, they're probably glued and screwed to the counter tops.

Take a flashlight and open your cabinet doors and look for screw heads on the underside of your counter top right near the wall.

Even if you get the screws out, then the backsplash will probably be glued to the counter top.
