Cracking couch
 

I have a sectional, 3 seat side, 2 seat middle, and chaise side. When we sit on the middle part, it cracks. When we get up, it cracks and pops also. It was exposed to water at one point. I have sprayed the springs with wd40 and the brackets. I also used silicone on the wood. Any suggestions on how to stop the problem?

Have you checked the wood frame for a crack or a joint that has failed.

Yes, I'm thinking the only solution is hoping it settles or just completely replacing it. It was in a flood. Although the entire sectional was in the flood, it is the only piece thar pops and cracks
