Do you have anything that has become a tradition to grow? My son and I always make sure we grow sunflowers every year. No matter what else we try, we MUST plant our sunflowers. They attract these really pretty yellow birds, I thnk they are finches but I am not sure, but they are fun to watch. We also like to collect the seeds once it's mature and feed them to our hampster
I grow zucchini every year. My garndmother used to grow it and make zucchini bread with chocolate chips in it and used to sit at the table and eat it while it was hot with fresh butter on it. THe best food I have ever tasted. Now I make the bread myself and feed it to my daughter. I hope she likes it half as much as I did/do.
