Hello all, can I use flexible aluminum ductwork for a rangehood? thanks

You can check with your local inspector. Any grease that might get into the range duct should be able to run back into the filter of the hood. I don't think you can do that with flexible aluminum. Paul

Not sure what your codes are there but here we have to use galvinized soild.
Aluminum would melt if there's a fire.
Also flexable will trap grease in the folds.
