Guardian Battery Backup for Sump
 

The house we're buying tomorrow just had a problem. The battery backup for the sump failed after 2.5 hours, and the basement took water after freak amounts of rain nailed our town.

The sump claims that it will run continuously for 6 hours. Why would it die after 2.5?

How old is the battery and when does it get charged,.. te=he solution is buy a new one and get a voltage tester to check it periodically . Then you know its a good one.

Or get yourself a generator.:D
