Default Help me; I think I'm lost

Hello - I don't know where this is ending up; I'm new to this site & to posting in general. What is a "thread" & how do I introduce myself properly without appearing to be an idiot? Thank you.....anyone? Where & how do you post? It seems everyone's in on it but me.

Hi Piccolo-player,

You have done just fine with your introduction. This is the place for that. Welcome to Gardening Voice!

A thread is what you have created with your post. It's a whole bunch of posts on one topic. We now have 3 posts in this thread or topic.

If you have a question about a tree you would choose that forum to ask your question.

I would like to suggest that go back to your profile and make sure the box for 'Instant E-mail Notification' is checked under Automatic Thread Subscription Mode. That way when someone replies you will receive a notification that there is a reply to your question. For 'Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received' you might want to check the 'yes' box. That way you will know when someone sends you a private message and you will get an e-mail at home.
