This house has settled and the doors want shut properly. Some cracks in the wall. Some tile breaking in a one year old house. The piers seem to be settleing and the house is staying. Causing damages. Does anyone have a clue?

This is typical of a new home drying out. If it was built during the rainy season, you may get more issues than most. Get a home inspection done , try American Society of Home Inspectors, ASHI for a good organization, not a company. Then see if you can get the builder back for the one year warrantee work, if that is available in your situation.

If you have no cracks in the foundation, it is most likely shrinking or drying out. Excess moisture in the wood before or after construction and before articial drying is a common cause.
