how to cure dead spots in lawn
 

No matter how much I water I still have dead spots in my lawn. I don't have many weeds and no pine trees. But I can't seem to make nice grass grow in these spots. Any suggestions?

you may want to call your local nursery
 

You may try giving your local nursery a call and explain your problem to them. I've heard that grubs may cause this and also a lack of airation (sp?). I would definitely call around and get some ideas as to what causes this problem and the easiest, cheapest solution is.

did you put down more grass seeds then water them I did that with ours

Silly as it is, I never thought about putting down new grass seed. I just assumed it was something more complicated when watering wouldn't do the trick. I'm going to do like the other poster said and call the nursery and run all these ideas past them and see what they say.

If the lawn is St. Augstine, you can't reseed. You have to resod.
