Hello - I am in the planning phase of remodeling my kitchen. I have received a quote from a contract and was astonished at the price of the cabinets. It is motivating me to do most of the remodel myself. I was wondering if anyone can recommend cabinet wholesalers (online or not) and what your experience was with them.

Was the quote for custom made soild wood cabinets? If so that's why the price was so high.

Just Google kitchen cabinets and hundreds of sites come up.
Ikea has a down loadable 3D design aid.

Don't forget this phrase. "Don't replace what you can repurpose." If you posted a picture of your current cabinets, maybe they aren't as bad as you say they are. New stain, sanding, maybe just a new door? Simple inexpensive things could make it look brand new.
