Default lighting in a vaulted ceiling

Anyone help me, how can I install lighting in a vaulted ceiling where I can't run wires in the insulated area? And I’ll be installing tongue and groove ceiling board and there will be timber trusses as well. Can I run it under some of that somehow?

Regards,

Default what kind?

Just what kind of insulation are we talkin about? Is there any gap or void at all between t&g and truss, or roof and t&g?
