Need help on new pond
 

I am thinking of installing a pond and have a few questions.

Is there any risk putting a pond near my house? It wouldn't be very big but it would be about 4 meters from my house.

Second does anyone know any good DIY guides for building a pond or good websites?

I want to know the same thing. Google doesn't bring much up. I am more curious about good pump/filtration issues.
