Thanks again BridgeMan. That was my thinking. My idea is to dig down to the footing in the crawl space I'm guessing 3 -4 feet. Get the deepest liner I can find. Fill the bottom of the hole with rock till the liner will equal the surface height. Then file the outside of the liner with rock. Drill holes in the liner top and bottom. Have some sort of lid for the liner. This should provide a easy route for the water to take. Letting the pump move the water outside. Have no idea if this will work. I think I will give this a try. Unless someone says that this is a really dumb idea.
