Community Advancement Network, Inc. announces their plans to create Botanical Gardens within the Mississippi Delta.
The gardens will officially be named Delta Botanical Gardens and the organization looks to open dialogue with many garden clubs and their members from around the nation in hopes to create a widely diverse atmosphere for all to enjoy. C.A.N.I. wants to receive advice and tips from all persons interested in taking part in this ground breaking adventure.
Randy Ball, founder and general manager, has been working on this program for over four years now, and recently the organization received its state solicitation papers, allowing the group to solicit funds from the general public for the organizational causes.
C.A.N.I.’s website can be viewed at
www.caninc.org and all interested parties can easily contact them at anyone of the ways listed on their website. The organization looks forward to working with many people from all across the country who love gardening and would love to become a part of this movement to create a place of beauty and solace for all to enjoy, leaving their lasting impact on the world around them. When the actual planning of each garden section takes place the volunteers that are miles away can easily take part by teleconferencing, webcams, podcast, blogging, emailing, or with the postal mail or over the phone etc. Multi media progress has enabled many wonderful people to become a strong part of this organization and not just cornered in by region or geography.
C.A.N.I. also recently announced that membership is currently free to all interested parties. Dues will not be collected by members until the official grand opening of the gardens, which at that time will be voluntary to continue at the election of the member. All members will receive the monthly newsletter along with opportunities to enter garden design contest etc.
C.A.N.I. appreciates all gardens clubs and societies spreading the word about the opportunity for their members to participate in this organization. C.A.N.I. looks forward to hearing from all areas of the country and from all gardening specialties.
